Bihter realizes that it must be Besir who saw her with Behlül. Especially when Besir tries to talk to Adnan in private, her suspicion becomes true. Bither goes to see Behlül in his house outside of Istanbul and finds him in bed with another woman. Firdevs fears that there is more going on between her daughter Bihter and Behlül. Therefore, she starts influencing Nihal with the notion that Behlül is in love with her.

Firdevs goes one step further and tells Adnan that Behlül has confessed his love for Nihal. Coincidentally Cemile overhears this and immediately spreads the news. Bihter realizes what a dangerous play her mother is willing to play in order not to lose her comfortable life.
